The work of Bertha Lillian Goff epitomises the aims of the Arts & Crafts Movement. She was a talented artist in many fields: painter, sculptor, jeweller, enameller & silversmith. Bertha Goff was awarded a silver medal at the National Competition c.1902. She studied at the Sir John Cass Technical Institute winning prizes for enamelling in 1906-7.
