Origin French, c. 1899
Marks Signed verso: 'L. GAUTRAIT' bearing French assay mark. The chain, bearing maker's mark: 'LG' for Leon Gariod.
Case Fitted Case

A fantastically creative version of an ancient Egyptian winged scarab amulet. The gold chain is intersperced with matching plique-à-jour lotus flowers. Designed by Leopold Gautrait & made by Leon Gariod.
